On Tuesday 16th June 2026 - the new Plaid Cymru government announced the release of £55 million to complete the childcare expansion for 2 year olds - and support the full roll out of new transformative childcare offer.
Plaid Cymru said that they would roll out free childcare to support families, and that's exactly what they have done.
